ALS Memorial Scholarship (*Please Read Carefully)

The ALS Memorial Scholarship is awarded to select students who exemplify leadership in programs with the Unity Center or other programs across campus at Ithaca College. This scholarship aims to honor students who have worked to influence and promote the academic, political, social, economic, and cultural welfare of students of color at IC and the greater Ithaca community. We look forward to reviewing your submissions!

  • Submissions should be received before December 21 2025, 11:59pm. **No exceptions will be made after the application has closed in the spirit of fairness and consistency*** 
  • Only students returning for the 2025-2026 academic year are eligible for this scholarship.
  • 1 (or more depending on pool) students will be initially selected to receive the African Latino Society Scholarship. Depending on your financial aid package, you may receive the full award or only be eligible for a portion of it.
  • Interested applicants do not need to be in an ALS/SOCC Exec or General Body to apply.
  • The scholarship is open to all full time matriculated students at Ithaca College.
  • You must have a 2.0  cumulative GPA or greater to apply.
  • The monetary award of this scholarship ranges from $1,000.00-$1,200.00
